Why oral implants

Implants can help maintain stimulation at a missing-tooth site, support facial contours, and provide a stable base for replacement teeth. With appropriate planning and maintenance, many patients enjoy long-term function. Individual results vary; longevity is never guaranteed.

Single-tooth, multiple, and full-arch

Single implants replace one tooth without preparing adjacent teeth as bridge abutments when clinically appropriate. Multiple implants can support bridges. Full-arch rehabilitation uses a strategic implant distribution to support a fixed or removable prosthesis. Some paths require bone reconstruction first; others use available bone carefully. Each case is evaluated individually.

Bone, infection, and soft tissue

Limited bone → ridge or sinus grafting (pillar 1). Active or complex infection → infection therapy and regenerative care before or around implant therapy (pillar 2). Soft-tissue deficiencies → oral plastic surgery (pillar 4). Implant placement (pillar 3) is never marketed in isolation from these foundations.

Process outline

Evaluation → coordinated surgical/restorative plan → surgery (implants ± grafting) → healing → restoration by your restorative dentist → maintenance. Temporary teeth are discussed when part of the plan.

Candidates
